T-shirt design
I have had the privilege to work with a variety of clients over the years to create custom shirt designs for fundraisers, events, and personal use. I enjoy doing T-shirt design because it often combines illustration and typography.
The Fund Run is a 5k put on by the Ouachita Student Foundation to raise money for student scholarships. I got the opportunity to design the t-shirt for the innagural race in February 2020.
Tiger Traks is a weekend of fun events for college students at Ouachita Baptist University. The event has been dubbed "Arkansas' Most Exciting College Weekend" by Arkansas Governors each year since the 1970s. The Ouachita Student Foundation hosts this event annually to help raise money for student scholarships. This shirt concept is based off the original Tiger Traks logo that's been in use since the 70's. This is a modern take on it. The cream shirts were for workers and blue for participants.
This t-shirt design was created as a fundraiser for the Ouachita Tiger Cheerleading team. I created three different t-shirt designs that targeted cheer alumni, the general public, and cheer parents. This shirt depicts the cheer team in front of the OBU football stadium stands.
I designed this shirt along with other promotional materials for the Women of the Word 2018 conference at First Baptist Church Benton, AR. The eventual shirt design was printed with a single white ink on a grey t-shirt.
Pine Cove is a Christian summer camp. At many of these large camps, it is traditional for staffers from the same college to get matching t-shirts made to wear on special days of camp. In 2018, I was approached by the Ouachita Pine Cove summer staff to create their shirt. The Pine Cove logo is a circle around the stylized pinecone you see below. I wanted to play off of that motif and include it in the "O" of OBU. Pictured below are the front and back of the shirt.
